Brief
Create a film marking ninety years of Zoulovits in silver-plated ware.
Creative solution.
As we studied Zoulovits, we began to see its products as heirlooms: objects passed from hand to hand, kept carefully in cupboards, waiting to shine on a special day.
We were drawn to the familiar ritual around them: everything brought out together, a small army of silver-plated objects waiting to be polished. Sometimes polishing was a way to let off steam; sometimes it was a task done for someone else. What mattered to us was that these objects were always there, part of those moments.
That became our way into the film. We wanted to tell the ninety years through the lives the objects had been part of. We connected past and present through the characters’ memories, with an object always there as a quiet witness, passing between generations.
We chose to open and close in an imagined workshop belonging to the founder, Athanasios Zoulovits. Narration from his perspective runs through the images as an inner memory, carrying the founding vision and a sense of pride in Greek craftsmanship.
Process
We developed each scene around distinct references for the product, character, location and lighting. We used actual product photographs to control shape, ornament, proportions and materials, and generated scene anchors to define the setting.
We directed motion as complete scene coverage, checking handling, continuity and rhythm. We addressed specific inconsistencies through targeted revisions before bringing the scenes together in editing and sound.
